Free Printable Cards (Download and Send!)

My husband and I manage to take a child-free weekend at least twice a year, thanks to my wonderful parents, who happily agree to watch our two boys. Last year, I started sending little treats and notes with the boys on their weekend stays to give them something from Mom and Dad to let them know we were thinking of them. Usually I include a small piece of candy for them (holiday candy stashed away in the pantry) or another kind of tiny prize.

Brandon and I are going away this weekend and I wanted to make some cute cards to send with them. I am by no means a designer, as you’ll see, but I managed to come up with these that I’m going to print off and put into envelopes with leftover Valentine’s Day candy, one for each day that we are gone from them.

Comments

  1. Sometimes the boys take a little packed bag with them and this would be great to sneak into their toiletries pocket :D

  2. This is a really sweet idea! Love it :)

  3. What a creativity idea you have there! Looks so much better than my little love notes from mommy. :-)
