I got to see the pump in person at the ABC Expo last fall and then got my own about a week ago. It’s awesome. The pump parts are super easy to assemble, the bottle stands are so stable, and the 5 oz. bottles can comfortably be held across your chest with one hand or two or placed inside a pumping bra. The Affinity Pro pump’s base unit can be run on batteries or AC adapter and features a timer, which is very handy for those bleary, sleep-deprived days and nights when you can’t keep track of anything in your head! Suction and speed levels are all easily adjusted using the buttons on the pump’s base.

I love that it has a light, portable base. The one we had was really big and clunky.
I really like how compact it is–the one we rented from the hospital was huge. For the cups, I like that one “base” fits different types of lid. That’s always so convenient for reducing clutter in our house! Krista, does the timer on the pump have an auto shut-off? I was always afraid I would fall asleep while pumping in those early days!
I love it that you can attach the Thera-Pearl 3-in-1 Breast Therapy pads to the shields! Those first few days of breastfeeding are torture with engorgement…so this would really help!

Joy – I have an answer for you! There isn’t an auto-off feature except for the power save, which is that if the unit is turned on and is unattended for 60 minutes, it will turn off.
That’s a great pump. I wish I had one of those after I had my babies.
I love that the momma feeding products have interchangeable lids and that the nipples look (and maybe feel) like the real thing! I’d love to win these for my baby:-)
